Constantly lending a voice to the Neo-African narrative of an evolving continent, I am Kenyan Photographer/Cinematographer/Creative Director currently based in Nairobi -Kenya, my work retains the fascination of my first interactions with editorial and fashion magazines from my childhood. I use photography to communicate my perspectives, influenced by my own combination of wild thoughts and life experiences.
My work reflects a progressive editorial edge in Fashion documentary and Portraiture realms while maintaining a personal and intimate touch. I tell my stories from an instinctive place employing a signature style that draws out the subject’s personality to tell their story. Having been at it for a few years, I have narrowed it down to an art that helps me to combine my individual thoughts and visions to communicate the less obvious perspectives that lend themselves to me in a story. By applying my unique experiences, I am able to convey a story of the most mundane subjects in a way that stamps it with my singular signature.
